IMMIGRANT RIGHTSThe Pan Valley Institute is an active member of the Central California Coalition for Immigrants' Rights (CCCIR) a coalition created in 2006 for the purpose of joining forces with community members, activists, and organizations interested in collaborating in a campaign for just and humane legalization for immigrants. CCCIR came into being to give a new identity to these efforts. It is a temporary coalition in the process of defining itself. As one of its long-term objectives CCCIR aims to facilitate more active participation among immigrants so that they can be actors within a political process whose goal is bettering the community.
